Doha, 26 October 2011 - On behalf of the World Petroleum Congress, international law firm Baker & McKenzie has purchased and retired 6,270 tons of estimated CO² emissions in the voluntary carbon market to offset all the pre-event estimated scope 1 and 2 emissions associated with the 20th World Petroleum Congress, being held in Doha 4-8 December.

Doha, 31 July 2011 - International law firm Baker & McKenzie has acquired sufficient carbon credits to offset all the anticipated scope 1 and 2 emissions associated with the 20th World Petroleum Congress, according to a joint statement by the company and the Organizing Committee of the oil and gas event.
