• All delegates are advised to register early and to make their own arrangements to secure visas, flight bookings and hotel accommodation.
• Selected congress hotels are offering special rates for participants in the 20th World Petroleum Congress and Exhibition. Quote your Full Name and Congress Registration Order Number to your preferred hotel to benefit from the special accommodation rates. Rates are subject to change and availability at the time of booking. Attendees are to confirm and pay for their accommodation arrangements directly with the hotels.
• Free coach transport will be available for attendees from 14 selected shuttle hubs to the Congress and Exhibition and all official 20th WPC social events. Please read more information here.
• Discounted registration fees are available to those registering early as well as to delegates from World Petroleum Council member countries, chairs, speakers, academics, non-profit organisations, and students. Discounts also depend on the date by which we receive your registration form and enclosed payment.
• A spouse/partner accompanying a qualified delegate will receive a free registration for the social events.

Registration Fees do not include:

Only Visa, MasterCard and cash payments in Qatar Riyal and US Dollar is accepted on site

Payments for invoices issued before the 04 November must be received within seven (7) days of making your registration.

Cancellation, Refund and Substitutions

The submission of your registration application and its receipt by the organisers is deemed conclusive evidence of the delegate’s agreement to pay the full fees due from that moment.

Cancellations: No refunds will be made except where organisers decline registration.

Substitutions: Will be accepted until 04 November 2011

Registration is not considered complete unless payment is received by the relevant due date.

Cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing.

Terms and Conditions

• English is the official language of the Congress.
• If a visa is required to enter Qatar, you are advised to register early and reserve your hotel accommodation. Entry visa arrangements can be made directly with your selected hotel. See visa requirement information here
• Important correspondence will be sent to you by email.
• Acceptance of registration is at the discretion of the organisers.
• All prices are quoted per person.
• To be eligible for early booking discounts, registration and payment must be received by the due date.
• Submitting a completed registration and its receipt by the organisers is deemed conclusive evidence of the delegate’s agreement to pay the full registration fee due.
• Registration is not considered complete and no participant shall be permitted to attend unless payment is received by the relevant due

• If paying by bank transfer, proof of payment must be sent by fax or email to the Congress Secretariat.
• All international money transfer costs and bank transfer fees must be paid by the sender.
• Only credit card payments will be accepted after 04 November 2011.
• Substitutions will be accepted until 04 November2011.
• Cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing.
