The World Petroleum Congress Exhibition Features Impressive List of Participants
Once again, the exhibition of the World Petroleum Congress, the only global oil and gas event in the world, will feature the presence of the most important national and international oil and gas companies. ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, Total, ConocoPhillips, BP, Statoil, Oxy, Repsol, Maersk Oil and GDF-Suez, are all confirmed to exhibit. National oil and gas companies include: Qatar Petroleum, Saudi Aramco, Sonatrach of Algeria, CNPC, CNOOC, Sinochem & SINOPEC of China, Petrobras of Brazil, Gazprom, Pertamina of Indonesia, KNOC of Korea, Sonangol and Angola, NNPC of Nigeria, ONGC of India, Nippon Oil, Perupetro and ANH & Ecopetrol of Colombia, with more confirmations still to be received. Celebrating the 3rd World Petroleum Council Regional Meeting in Cartagena
For one week in June 2010, Cartagena became an international hub for the oil and gas sector, when it hosted the 3rd World Petroleum Congress Regional Meeting, to discuss the Latin American Solutions for Global Energy Challenges. Held in conjunction with the 4th Colombian Oil and Gas Show, this was the first regional meeting of the World Petroleum Council to be held in Latin America. Read more here...

3rd World Petroleum Council Youth Forum Announces $5,000 Prize
The 3rd World Petroleum Council Youth Forum “Fuel the Youth: Future Energy Leaders” will take place in India on the November 2, 2010. All young people, and particularly young women, are invited to participate in the activities, as the best contribution in the online competitions could win an all expenses paid trip to the finals in New Delhi on November 2, 2010, and compete for prize monies of $5,000.
